Cloud Computing is nothing but defined as the process of storing, processing and managing data.
Purposes of using Cloud:
*Pay as much as you use
*There is no space occupied by cloud in our office, It has more storage space than cloud and all the data are stored in data centers which are managed by renewable energy.
*Loss of data is very very less because I can store my data in more than a server hence there is no worry about it
*Difficult to hack as the files are encrypted
*Data security
Advantages of Cloud:
1) Pay as u use the cloud services
2) All the issues will be cleared or take care by the service provider
3)Better data security
Disadvantages of Cloud:
1) Account Hijacking
2)It can be failed due to the low Internet connection etc.
Service Models in Cloud:
There are three types of service Models are available in cloud they are:
1) IAAS:
It stands for Infrastructure as a service. It depends on the hardware (storage devices) such as RAM.
2) SAAS:
It stands for Software as a service. Cloud provider will provide us different software according to their use.
3) PAAS:
It stands for Platform as a service.
It provides various software applications.
Deployment Models of Cloud:
There are three major types of cloud are available and they are:
1) Public cloud -> accessed by all
2) Private cloud -> Accessed by a particular organisation
3) Hybrid cloud -> Combination of both public and private cloud. It provides the service which are not in both public and private cloud.
